Most times you can try to change the settings of your browser on your android device by using the content://com.android.browser.home/ command. For those of you who are new to this term, this command is used to transform or change something about the current browser in your device.

Steps to reset your browser settings on Android

  1. Open the default web browser of your device.

  2. Now from the top right corner of your screen, click on the menu button.

  3. Next, click on the Settings option from the menu and scroll a bit to find the "android browser settings" and click on it to proceed further.

  4. Now find the general settings and then click on the "set homepage" button.

In case, this method doesn't help you, you can try using the alternative method that may do the job for you.

  1. Open the website that you want as your homepage and then click on the menu button.

  2. Bookmark those pages and once you are done, click on the menu button again to proceed further.
